About us

The company GRP GmbH was founded in 1993 from Mr. Waldemar Podlich, who is originate from Karsakpai (approx. 70 km from Zheskazgan). Mr. Podlichs profession is Dr. Graduate Engineer before his departure to Germany he was the manager of a repairing factory in Zheskazgan with approx. 900 employees. Mr Podlich decrees about a great personal “network” to the top managers to the relevant companies.

In the erection phase to 1995, the GRP GmbH exported a wide range of goods. These exports covered the first needs of many Kazakhstan companies and people.

In the second phase from 1995 to 1997 the GRP GmbH concentrate more on the mining business. Thereby the main focus was defined for example on lower projects like boiler or pumpstations, but although the technical planning or the implementation of large mining ventilators. As well first dealerships with for instance Alfagomma and Haggi-Rand were arranged.

From 1997 to at least 2008 happens the development in the range of spare parts and secondhand equipment. Actual the GRP GmbH has business relationships with over 80 suppliers, and some important authorized general representations for established companies like MTU/Daimler Chrysler, Donaldson Filtertechnic, Detroit Diesel Corporation, MAN AG, Clark/Dana…

From 2000 a programm is implemented for the development of the service business with the main focus of the Kazakhstan non-ferrous metal mining (Korporation Kasachmys, Kazink).This includes as well reman/conditioning activities in the range of the products of Caterpillar and Sandvik/Tamrock.

From 2005 we take over also the transports duties for our best clients. In this case we organize the necessary stocking of spare parts and the service and repairing execution in our facilities. These Jobs will be executed from consummate educated personal to guarantee the best standard with the lowest holding time. In regurlarly intervals oil samples will be removed from the established car pool and in the company own oil analysis labour demanding controlled for eventual contamination. Because of that we recognize early coming damages and can avoid unnecessary holding times.The Organisation of staff requirements, shift arrangements or employee schoolings are also a part of our field of activity.

Our workshops, as well as the workshops of our partners, are equipped with most modern tools (from the german company GEDORE), analysis and diagnostic computers and conform with the high west European Standard.

The average business volume in the last 3 years amount to 9.000.000,00 EURO.
Also already transacted big orders can increase the business volume. For the next years we calculate again with business volume increases because of enduring in a rising market of the medal prices and planned or already begun investments from ourselves and as well as of our clients. In the moment the GRP Group engaged approx. 1.000 employees. From them are working 20 employees here in Germany. The transport of goods will be effected among other things from six company own road semi trailer. Since 2 years minimum two trucks in the months are leaving our warehouse in Germany loaded with all kinds of goods and destination Kazakhstan, to supply our workshops with the depended spare and wear parts.

Actually we have finished a new building in Karaganda: the first MAN authorised workshop in Kazakhstan. In these premises existing commercial trucks receive a correct service and we offer to our many clients in Kazakhstan original spare parts, technical documentation and driver education. Of course we dismiss and sell new vehicles in this workshop. These workshops have been constructed and equipped according to the high demands of the MAN AG.
